PRACTICE
Mr. Christenson has been working at Christenson Law Firm since November 1979. He currently practices in the areas of wills and estates, trusts, and business transactions.

BACKGROUND
Mr. Christenson was born and raised in Porterville and attended several local schools. He graduated from Porterville High School in 1970, and attended Porterville College from 1970-72. He served a two-year church mission in West Japan from 1972 to 1974 and speaks conversational Japanese. He then attended Brigham Young University for both his undergraduate and law studies. Mr. Christenson has served as a lay bishop of the Porterville 1st Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as a counselor in the Porterville, California LDS Stake, and has served as president of the same stake for the past eight years. He enjoys being involved in the community, having served as a charter member of the Optimist Club of Porterville, as well as a founding member of the Burton Educational Foundation, a board member and chairman of the Tule River Econonomic Development Corporation, board member and chairman of the Porterville College Foundation, board member and past president of Sierra View District Hospital, and a scout badge merit counselor for the Boy Scouts of America. He and his wife Kathy have six children and fifteen grandchildren.
